Welcome to Legends Chinese Cresteds.We hope you will enjoy your visit and share our Chinese Crested enthusiasm. Our names are Bill and Amy Thompson. We are located in Conroe, Texas.
Bill and I got our first Chinese Crested in 2002. We first discovered them at the Houston Reliant Show. I would go every year with anyone that would be willing to go with me to the show. I just loved it. Bill happened to be the lucky one that year. We were looking for a family pet. Bill and I had been married for only about a year at that time and we wanted a family pet. I knew I wanted a toy dog and that is where we saw our first Chinese Cresteds. The first one we saw was the Chinese Crested Powderpuff. I told the person who had the dog, that it was the most beautiful dog I had ever seen before. They then informed us that we need to go over to the ring because they came in two different varieties, a Powderpuff and a Hairless. That was all it took. |
We were hooked. They were the most awesome dogs we had ever seen and they did not shed. Our family has allergies and asthma and that just seemed like a perfect fit. Bill then asked me if I thought that I would like to show since I always wanted to go to the dog shows. I said no way I could not do that. I would not be any good at that. Well…. The rest was history.
We never knew life with these little Cresteds could be so wonderful. They have just made our lives complete.
